DJ Choices - Non Profit (Williamsport, PA)
2016 - 2017

  • As a voting member of the board, I worked on fundraising efforts and production planning for the massive multimedia assembly program of DJ Choices which raises awareness of the heroin epidemic in Pennsylvania and other northeastern states.

  • Early in the development of DJ Choices, I was a key consultant for strategies, marketing, planning, and organizational development.

  • I have recently resigned from the DJ Choices board due to personal commitments but continue to serve as a consultant offering advice on show improvements and strategies that will add value to the program.

Penn College Tech Scholars Advisory Committee Member - (Williamsport, PA)
2014 - 2018

  • This committee meets once a year to review a STEM related program at Pennsylvania College of Technology and offer suggestions on how the program can be improved, and what trends are worth watching.

Leadership Lycoming Advisory Member - (Williamsport, PA)

  • As an advisory member, I serve on a team of local leaders that advises current Leadership Lycoming student projects and program days.

Central Pennsylvania Film Office (Williamsport, PA)

  • As a voting member of the board, I helped to increase awareness of the organization. When I was on the board, we were looking at bringing several films to the area which encompasses some of the most beautiful lakes, rivers, pristine forests, and victorian hamlets in the eastern United States.

Lycoming County United Way Fund Distribution Panel (Williamsport, PA)
2014 - 2015

  • I was a panel member in the fund Distribution process which occurs every year. Local organizations present their cases to multiple panels. These panels then deliberate and decide which organizations best qualify for money and how much. It is a grueling process, but personally well worth the time and effort.

  • Penn College Advisory Committees are comprised of industry professionals who meet regularly with faculty and department heads to advise on items regarding the alignment of curriculum with current trends and industry needs.

  • The AS&I Committee, as it is known on campus, is an integral part of governance at Penn College. It is dedicated to the innovative review and recommendations pertaining to instructional methodology and materials, program evaluation, core competencies, courses, student retention, probation, termination, and academic standards for the college.

Leadership Lycoming Curriculum Committee (Williamsport, PA Chamber of Commerce)
2011 / 2012

  • This committee meets monthly to review and discuss the curriculum for Leadership Lycoming. Further, this committee reviews and designs the agenda for each program day throughout the year including the initial retreat and the final dinner at graduation. It retains strong ties to the local community and communicates with local and state officials and various businesses to provide the class with quality keynote speakers, presenters, and mentors.

Little League World Series (South Williamsport, PA)
2009 - 2011

  • The Little League World Series holds a world audience each year as young athletes from every corner of the globe come to play for the title of Little League World Series Champions. I, along with other members of the Office of Instructional Technology from Penn College, volunteered our time as cameramen for Little League International to gather footage for broadcast, archive, and display of on-field ceremonies for the outfield video scoreboard. Working together with ESPN other media outlets to control the chaos on the field was quite a challenge but very rewarding and fun.

South Williamsport Youth Fund (South Williamsport, PA)
2010 - 2011

  • As a resident of South Williamsport, PA in 2010, I was one of the founding members. The South Willliamsport Youth Fund (SWYF) was dedicated to the quality of life for children in the South Williamsport, PA area. More specifically, the SWYF raised money and helped to improve and sustain the means of quality recreation and events for the South Side residents and their children.
